PPG 2020

Callum and Tahlia recently attended the inaugural annual meeting of the Perth Protein Group - a special interest group of the Australian Society for Biochemistry and Molecular Biology (ASBMB).

It was a whirlwind weekend down in Albany from Friday to Sunday, getting a taste of the fascinating protein-related research being carried out right here in Perth. Topics varied from protein functions to protein structures and everything in between, and was a great opportunity to share some of the recent research happening in the Ramsay Lab.

Callum presented an update on his characterisation of the RdfS excisionase protein in Mesorhizobia, and Tahlia presented a story about how protein levels effect quorum sensing and ICE transfer.

Big thank you to PPG for hosting such a great weekend.
